Worth it to transfer?

If you were top 10% at UCLA, wanting LA Biglaw, on a half scholarship. Is there any reason to transfer to HYS? Would that even make it?

Probably not worth it. Plus, if you haven't applied yet, I think Stanford's and Harvard's transfer application deadlines have already passed.(June 15th) Would 10% at UCLA get in? Tough call. I'd say most likely not at Stanford and Yale. At Harvard, it would be a closer call.

It's too late anyway for H (idk about S), and Y probably only takes #1-#5 at UCLA, if that.
but just for the hypothetical sake, I would transfer to HYS, even if I knew I wanted biglaw, if and only if I knew I would be able to get max need based aid (or close to it) from HYS. At that point, HYS would likely be cheaper than UCLA with a half/ride, and even H (transfer) > UCLA cum laude (assuming you slightly lose grip on your top 10%)--all costs being the same to me. and that's only because idk if UCLA negotiates scholarships at that grade range
that's just my opinion tho

Top 1% at TTT in Chicago. Applied to NU and waiting to hear back. If I get in, is it worth it to go considering I want to stay in Chi?
