Also would be interested to know if anyone would recommend any schools that I have not considered (see above list). I have no real geographic preference, interested in biglaw or a well paying midlaw gig. My T2 is in a very small market with few decent paying jobs available each year.

Why not Northwestern or Michigan? Duke?

I think Northwestern is worth to apply if you don't mind the freezing winter in Chicago, it's a nice city to work/live overall. My cousin works for a very big firm in Chicago. He said employers (at least the company he works for) prefer students from Northwestern (not sure why).

Depends upon the strength of your recommendations to a significant extent. Also, your 10 years of work experience might be a significant factor depending upon the type of work.
Easy admit to Northwestern if you apply, of course. In at Michigan if you apply.

As far as Michigan goes, I just don't want to live there for school or possibly work there after graduation. I know I said I don't really have a geographical preference, but there are some places I would like to avoid.
Duke is not a bad location for me, I just don't know if it's worth the app fee if I can get in to some of these others. Does anyone know what my chances would be with an app to Duke?
