I applied, Only top %20 at T2, URM, and have a summer job secured. I probably still have 0% chance though haha

You don't have 0%. I don't know much about the Vandy application process. But it seems like they care more about the big picture of the transfer candidate rather than just focusing solely on grades. The average GPA admitted was only like a 3.35 (something around there). Plus, the Vandy law school dean said that the admissions interview was the second most important aspect underneath grades to the admissions committee.

Do different summer jobs weigh differently? I'm assuming that if you land a SA that would weigh heavily. Is there a difference between judicial internship or an internship for a corporation?

I have no idea. I would like to think that an SA helps because it shows your employable. But that's just my take and unfortunately my take doesn't matter haha.

We recently had a meet and greet where about 30 large firms came and visited with our class. By far the majority of them said a judicial internship is one of the best experiences for 1L summer. But they were referring mainly to federal of course.

3.5X at T2 (dropped to T3 in newest USN Rankings). Top 11-12%.
Vandy is a long shot but I'm really hoping it works out. The interview went well and I'm looking forward to decisions being rolled out soon. Good luck to everyone who applied!

top 20% at low T1... didn't get my transcript in until two weeks ago because of delays with undergrad transcript and LSAC. Haven't heard anything from them about an interview or anything.

Admissions office said that Vanderbilt does not use status checkers. I hope the decisions come out soon! Good luck to everyone.

I wouldn't assume that you're deferred. I highly doubt they make all their calls in one day and base it on when the interview was conducted and the committee reviewed your application. However, I'm anxiously waiting by my phone.

So I randomly just two days ago got an email to call their office and schedule an interview. Seems really late for that. Do I still have a shot? Also, where can I find tips about the V interview?

Has anyone else received an acceptance phone call? I'm getting a little nervous!
