Top 30 school with full scholarship in region I might want to practice in/have strong ties to
GPA after first semester: approx. 3.9
Goals: federal clerkship, big law, eventually in-house
1L summer: no SA but paid in house
What schools are worth applying to transfer to/what are my chances?
HYS? Not sure it Stanford would make sense (want to work on east coast)
CCN?
Other T14?
Thanks

Depends on the T30, but I wouldn't recommend transferring unless you get into HYSCCN. IMO, here are your chances:
YS: crapshoot, likely out.
HLS: 50/50 depending on your T30
CCN: Likely in at all 3 (NYU and UChi for sure)
Rest of T14: all but certain

I feel like class rank is important to know before people can give you accurate advice.

Technically yes, but 3.9 is almost certainly top 5% at any T30, even those with a 4.33 A+ and a 3.35 curve.

School doesn't rank 1Ls after first semester, but based on previous years, I'm well within top 5%
