Chicago ED

Read through 20 pages of search results on transferring ED to Chicago and didn't see much information on this.

How far do you have to drop 2nd semester to lose your Chicago ED acceptance? Obviously, you have to be able to drop a little or there would be little point to it at all. Or maybe there is little point to it at all? I'll settle for personal anecdotes at this point.

So do we have any data points here regarding 1) originating school 2) first semester GPA 3) 1L GPA 4) outcome?

Thanks.

Probably won't get a lot of responses since very few ppl ED to Chicago as a transfer. There are less than 3 in my class and they all stayed 10% or higher after their second term.

ETA: This issue is probably more complex though. Partially depends on how low their original school was (need to be higher in the class the lower the first school is), which might have informed their decision to ED in the first place. And I'm not sure if Chicago would have rescinded their admission if they dropped below X%, I just know that they didn't drop.

Just do what you did last semester and you won't drop enough. Only willfull neglect would see it drop enough to matter. Just don't do that.
