Need advice

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Feb 04, 2015 9:39 pm

Currently attending a T2 ranked 60-80. Above median - top 33%. No scholarship.
I would like to transfer for better job prospects.
I burnt out as exams went on, but I figured out what went wrong so hopefully that will be remedied this semester and my performance will be significantly better.
For familial reasons, I might want to transfer to USC/UCLA/UW - but if I decide to stay where I am, I would likely want to transfer to Georgetown/NYU/Columbia.

Money is no issue, thankfully. I'll likely end up with CoL debt and nothing else if I transfer.
Biglaw would be nice but I would equally be fine with small firm work/clerking if I end up in a low CoL area.

What class ranking do you figure I need to achieve for my goals?

OP here, thanks for the input. AFAIK our school only ranks top 10%, not top 5% and above. What about the west coast schools?

Top 10% will give you a good shot at Berkeley.
