Do "Softs" and 1L employment at a top firm factor in much?

T25, top 10% looking to transfer as high up the T10 as I can. Lots of strong softs, including advanced degrees and work experience in IP. I have a SA lined up at a top biglaw firm with a very strong reputation for IP. For the most part, my application should scream "this person is definitely going to get hired by a top firm and be successful in the legal profession, especially graduating from here." Obviously GPA is the most important factor in transfer admissions, but since they're admitting transfers not so much based on helping their rankings, but rather by taking law students who show promise for being a top student with strong likelihood for good employment, to what extent should my softs and 1L SA help my transfer admissions? Particularly with regards to T6 "reach" schools...

if you're median at your T25, you're probably not transferring into a T10, even if you're summering at Cravath

As indicated in the first line of my post, I'm in the top 10% of my class.

I think the point is that, although you have great grades after 1 semester, you need to duplicate the feat this semester or the point is moot.

RC Fail. Anyway, how will schools find out about your 1L SA? Are you going to list that on your resume before starting?
In any event, I think your softs will be as strong as most applying. After LGPA, I'm sure schools like Penn/Yale/Stanford etc... place a heavy emphasis on 'softs' considering their small transfer size, or else they'd be taking any T25 kid in the top 5% looking to move. I don't know what school you're at, but maybe you should look at the 509 transfer reports for the T10 schools to see how many kids they're taking every year and where they're from. I think what school in the T25 youre at will play a role, too. top 10% at USC will probably get a better look @ berkeley than top 5% at Alabama

No. Only class rank and 1L school
