phew! that's good to hear!! i met with an admissions coordinator last week to ask questions... also met with 2 ppl in one of the clinics to learn more about it...
should i submit the transfer request and dean certification now or hold off until closer to when the app opens on feb 17? it would be done by the same person at my school.
if these get sent before the app opens, would they open a file for me under my name and add my app when it comes in?
do you think there's any advantage to applying on the day the app opens? i have my PS ready to go!

Wait, they don't even have a file for you? How are you going to submit those?
They create a file once you submit and pay for your application.

It's not binding right? Is there harm in applying early action and applying to other schools after second semester? Is it that they require a decision before other schools would issue theirs?

yeah... that was my concern. how can i submit the transcript and transfer certification before my actual application goes in? but if they're going to start a file for me based on these materials, i think it would be fine?

It seems like the biggest problem with GULC EA is that deposits will be due before you hear from other schools, so if you think you'll end up with better options you'll have to waste money to keep GULC on the table.

GULC requires the credential assembly service. I submitted my paper app already, but it looks like I still have to deal with LSAC. Anyone know how to get around this?

I mean I think every school requires the CAS.

Yeah, but to send the CAS to GULC, do you have to wait until the app becomes available on 2/17?

I'd assume so.

I wouldn't rush too much. They open the application the 17 because they probably want you to apply after that time. They don't open a file for you until you pay for your application. I think you sending documents ahead without them even having a file is not a good idea. You are even possibly risking them losing documents.
