Top Law Schools

Okay so I currently attend Touro and haven't received my rank yet, but based on past classes I should be around top 30%. Obviously hoping to improve that this semester. My scholarship is small (10k a year) and will have a decent amount of debt at graduation. Luckily I do not have any living expenses to pay.

Should I look into transferring into St. Johns, Brooklyn or Cardozo? I know i'm not getting Big law; this is just for general employment purposes. I also do not want to work in Public Interest. I have decent connections on Long Island and some minor ones in NYC. Currently have a judicial internship this summer for a Supreme Court Justice out on Long Island. What do you guys think? Is it even worth it to transfer? I would preferably want to practice on Long Island, however I certainly would not be picky coming from any of these schools with their employment percentages and would practice in NYC if needed. All advice is greatly appreciated.

You should probably drop out if those are your options.

the school is very much pertinent to your chances. hofstra or touro isn't really very informative. hofstra is boarder line tier 2 so having good grades isn't entirely worthless. nobody will be able to speculate who you are from naming the school.
