you're right at median. you need to do a lot better next semester to transfer up.

I believe TLS is overly skeptical about transferring up a few schools. I know of people that have gone from t20 to 12-14 from below median. Not saying it's common, but it does happen.

Yea but at that point you're still pretty screwed if you want biglaw. You may have more of a shot soley because you'll get more interviews through the lottery system, but you still won't have good grades. If you're not getting a lot of money at the T20 though, then I think it's fair to at least move up and be mass mailing/graduating from a better school where some doors may be opened for you.

Problem people have told me with that is that because it's EA, the deposit deadlines are sooner. So if you end up getting in somewhere better, you'll lose ~$1k to GULC b/c you'd have to deposit before hearing from anywhere else.
