I think decent shot at both. The question is, why do you want to transfer to those schools?

Because I am very unhappy at my current school which is where I am from. In addition, I wish to practice law elsewhere and would be quite content working and living in Boston or Atlanta.
Is it normal to not have heard anything so late in the process?

I haven't heard anything from Emory. But then again I only applied about two weeks ago.

Sorry to hear that. Still no word from Emory, it is probably a rejection letter sent snail mail. What others you looking at?

No others, just Emory left... Is that how Emory notifies you of a rejection? Not email?
What about you? What are your stats?

I'm top 25% at a strong regional T2. I got into Bama and WUSTL. Still waiting on UT and Emory.

And I have no idea how Emory declines people.

Thanks! UT is definitely my top choice! I have already decided I wont go to Emory even if admitted; but if I get dinged I'll let you know the method.

Has anybody heard anything? S. Goodman, just curious if you were going to withdraw since you don't plan on attending?S. Goodman wrote:jstreet wrote:Well S. Goodman -- hope you get into both!

I emailed the admissions and plan on calling later today to find out if they have a date/time they plan on notifying us. I would assume it would be early this week as Emory starts class in two weeks.

JP!
That answer does not please me but I hope we'll both get in.
Is Emory your top choice? It is for me or else I am back at my old school...

Yeah Emory is the only school I applied to. I was not happy with that answer, I need to sign a lease today or tomorrow if I am staying where I am at.

Oh, sorry to hear about the lease...
I guess you're not in Atlanta? Neither am I, plus I had to pay my school's tuition today- sucks!

So I received an email essentially getting transferred waitlisted. They now won't tell me to next week (ie they want to make sure everyone shows up before they tell me no).

I wonder if they actually told anyone that they were rejected.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
