You can still transfer? Check the deadline. If so, good shot

It's too late to apply there at this point but I am thinking about applying after another semester assuming I maintain my ranking

Likely not possible. Most schools allow transfer only between 1L and 2L.

Also, I don't know about UF, but I know that FSU takes students after 1, 2, or 3 semesters (or their PT equivalents) and accepts students in spring, summer, or fall. Strange things go on in that state, and I'm not just talking about Florida Man.

That's the thing. I applied to FSU for a transfer for the Fall semester but I have been complete over a month with no movement. I don't know if there is any hope for me at this point

I stand corrected. What a rare school it is that takes transfers after 1, 2, or 3 semesters.

Have you followed up with a LOCI? It's pretty late already, but it's possible that they are waiting for deposits and are keeping you on hold. But I think at this late juncture it's not unreasonable for you to LOCI and, perhaps in the process, politely ask about status.
