Should I write a letter of continued interest?

Aloha,
I'm waitlisted at GULC, my stats are not too spectacular, 3.5xx top 20% at a TTT law school in the area, but I have unique softs and have taken classes at Georgetown in the past during undergrad. In the WL e-mail, it mentioned that you could submit additional materials including a letter of continued interest.
So my question is, would it be worth it to write a letter of continued interest and send it to them? Would it have any impact on my chances of admission? I figured I may as well because I have nothing to lose by doing it.
Would appreciate feedback.
