Leveraging offer to gain money at current School

This question might be a little school specific to be of value, but I can't find anything for my school so I thought I'd open up the query.

I go to a lower t14, and am ~ top 5%. Applied to H for transfer. Assuming I get in - whom at my current school do I reach out to try and suggest they offer me more money to stay?

The way I see it, the admissions + financial aide people who are evaluated based on matriculation lsat/GPA numbers don't care if I stay or not.

But the people who do care about biglaw + clerkship #s don't have the money.

What did people in similar situations at other schools do?

Depends heavily on your school. For example, if you're at Cornell, there is 0 chance to get money out of an xfer.

I've heard anecdotally that my school (not Cornell) has done this before, but I haven't spoken to anyone who did it successfully. I figured it was worth a shot if it only cost me $80.
