I withdrew today. Great school and great admissions staff. Really hard to turn down. hope someone here gets the spot!

Also waiting to hear. Interviewed earlier this month via Skype. Said they would get back to me by the end of July. Does anyone know anything about OCI process there for transfers?

They will accept most everyone before the end of July. Expect most acceptances to come down this week and next week. Since they have so few applicants, I don't think they will accept in batches, but more on a rolling basis. Almost all schools try to accept prior to their bid deadline, because participating in OCI is basically the point of transferring.

Thanks for the feedback! Re: end of July, I figure that I am on the cusp and they are waiting to see if other people submit deposits. We'll see!

Anyone heard anything this week? Any recent interviewees with info on timetable for decisions?

these fucks have not emailed me at all absent the email stating they received my materials ... not even in my spam folder. hopefully no one is in the same position as me that hasn't been accepted to a better school... basically robbed me of $100

I haven't received anything, but then again I recently applied. Would be nice to know this week.

No shit. I (stupidly) only applied to two schools and have been rejected from the other. My bids at my current school are due by the end of the week, so I really just want to hear from Vandy, be it for better or worse. And although I thought they would accept on a rolling basis, it seems like they are going to send out batch acceptances since there has been no movement aside from one auto-admit (bertmacklin).

Luckily I already received acceptance to a school I would attend. However, Vandy was the highest ranking school I applied to since staying in the south was important and Duke was unrealistic. I'll probably require an answer this week in order for a transfer to be an option.

Does anyone think it would be beneficial to attend Vandy if the school I've already been accepted to is in the market I would prefer to work? There is certainly an increase in biglaw/clerkships gained by Vandy, but it's likely the result of further reach and placement outside of the SE.

This question is of course contingent on gaining acceptance to Vandy but I do have strong ties to Nashville and stronger ties to the market of the school I deposited at.
