GULC vs. Northwestern?

Hello all,

This post is similar to that of GULC vs. Michigan...

I've already been accepted into GULC, and I have a possibility of getting accepted at NU (due to work experience + ties), so if it's between these 2 schools, who should I choose?

I have always told myself I wanted to do big BigGov, but Im leaning more towards BigLaw lately because of the significant amount of debt I will have upon graduation.

I prefer DC > Chicago, but thats only because DC is somewhere new for me.

What are everyone's thoughts?

What does the aid situation look like?

OP here,

I will likely receive need-based assistance from both schools, however, I am not sure how much from each (just submitted GULC's).

For this situation, assume I have received $0 need-based aid (it's the only way I can imagine that will keep it as fair as possible until I receive further info)

Personally, I'd go with Northwestern. Georgetown might have a small advantage if you really want to work for the federal government or do international law, but even then, I don't think Northwestern would be a bad choice. I guess for me, I like the idea of going to a school where most of the students already have significant work experience. It makes a difference.

I chose NU over GULC. The huge class size at GULC means fewer opportunities for clinics and a lot more students to compete with for jobs.
