rank came out and I am ranked no. 15 in my 15th which is only top 15% as well... its a 4.33 scaled curved to a 3.0. I thought that being 15th in my class would put me in a much better spot

What does it matter if that's not the case at your school?zoomzoom88 wrote:i understand math.. my question is (and i did not word it correctly in my post) is a 3.8 usually better than top 15%?
I'm still trying to decipher what this means. Anyone have any luck?zoomzoom88 wrote:rank came out and I am ranked no. 15 in my 15th which is only top 15% as well...
I assumed it meant he was ranked #15 at a 15th ranked law school but that it only came up as top 15%...but yeah i was confused tooCounselorNebby wrote:I'm still trying to decipher what this means. "I am ranked #15 within the 15th percentile of the top 15%." So they're #15 within the top 2.25%. Assuming 15 is the cap at 2.25%, then there would have to be a class size of at least 666. GEORGETOWN STRIKES AGAIN.

#15 in a class of 300 is also top 69%, but top 15% is equally true and more impressive.rayiner wrote:Doesn't SHU graduate like 300 people? How can #15 in the class only be top 15%?
