The deadline to apply for Stanford and Harvard is June 16. Does this mean I have all of Monday the 16th to turn in my app?

I really do not know.

Last year HLS's deadline was July 1st.

I'm applying this year as well. I did not get back my spring grades until this previous Friday (June 13). I wanted my ConLaw professor to write me a recommendation, but my current school does not allow ANY contact with professors between the date of the final until final grades are posted. So I literally had between June 13 and June 16 to ask the professor for a letter. Luckily the professor answered and accepted on June 13.

I did not send in the undergraduate transcripts/undergraduate certification or law school certification (they allow you to apply with unofficial law transcript, which wasn't available until June 13 either), because I didn't want to send all of that stuff in and then get my spring grades only to find that I did not have the grades to transfer to HLS in the first place.

I sent in my application yesterday. My second letter of rec (from ConLaw professor) is to be uploaded by Monday (cross fingers) and then the LOR will automatically be sent to HLS. I ordered my transcripts/certifications on June 13, but none of them will arrive until after June 16. In my application I attached my unofficial UG/law school transcripts to the "Addendum" portion of the application just so they have them--just not officially.

Last year there were people who got admitted even though their materials either showed up late, and one person didn't even send in the UG/LS certification but was still accepted. (They had to send in the certifications before they could officially accept)

So basically, I think HLS is probably going to get a lot of late materials due to how close the application deadline is to the end of the semester. And they, and other schools, do allow a little lateness in supporting materials.

I also sent a brief email on Friday afternoon (June 13) indicating to them that I had sent in my application and briefly explained that my spring grades were not posted until June 13. I also notified them that all the supporting materials are either processing or in the mail and will arrive this week. I assume I'll get a response this Monday (June 16). I'll let you know how that goes.

Tag. Was wondering the same thing.

I wasn't considering Harvard until about last thursday, did the same thing [tried to expedite everything], but it definitely won't be there on monday. I did see something, I think when I was doing the application, about all materials being there by July 1, but I might have been delirious.

If you could let us know what they say tho I would much rather have the official word than something I think i might have seen posted somewhere on the internet.
