It's that time of year and many of you have the same question: should I stay or should I go?

Rather than start a new thread, post here and TLSers who have answered this question themselves will give you whatever advice they can.

What we'll need from you:

(1) Approximate rank/tier of current school (or name of current school, if willing)
(2) Cumulative 1L GPA
(3) Class rank
(4) Career ambitions
(5) Region(s) to which you have ties
(6) Region of current school
(7) Current scholarship
(8) How debt-averse are you?

I don't think it works that way. In the transfer forum it seems only the anon OP can respond anon. All other responses are out in the open. (Which also means that when you see an anon response, the "OP anon here..." it's superfluous).

Heavold already blanket-applied everywhere in the T20. In fact, due to what I can only assume is a lack of Microsoft word or any word processing program on their computer, they are using TLS to track their progress.

Does the disparity b/t 1st sem grades and 2nd sem grades play any part in likelihood of transfer?

Like median 1st sem to 4.0 2nd sem at a T40?

No. Cumulative is what matters. Also, an upward trend can only help you. But a downward trend won't harm you if your cumulative is still top 10%.

Was recently accepted to GULC. Need some advice. They request commitment by June 23rd. Should I accept? Should I apply to other places?
-
I have an interest in Govt. work, international law. GULC may offer me more opportunities in those fields. However, I have a strong chance of getting onto LR at my current school + tuition is far cheaper.
