I'm just confused how you can have "only" a 3.76/3.78 with all of those book awards lol.

yeah me too, but i'm guessing they deflate the GPA's there? Or maybe the actual number grade was a little lower, but still higher than everyone else in the section? I could see it happening if OP only had profs that had flat curves or something

Thanks for all the compliments everyone, and good luck txig!

Are you a Florida resident? If so, why didnt you apply to FSU / UF? I think you should apply as a safety unless you want out of Florida.

Emory is my safety school. Fsu or Uf are not worth transferring to in my opinion. Comparing employment prospects for my current shool against Fsu or Uf = marginal difference. So staying top 1-3% where I am now is better than transferring to either of those schools

Curious to know if any one thinks I have a chance at any of these schools. Thanks again.

Berks big law + clerkship placement is only about 7% higher than gulc, and I'm a fan of DC and would prefer not to be in California. So just personal preference I guess

However, I'm starting to feel DC more than Chicago (Northwestern), so maybe I need some reality check.

you still haven't heard back from Vandy, Columbia, or Duke?

Vandy only emailed me once to let me know they received my application materials. Never heard from them since.

Columbia says they are missing my UG dean's cert ... Hopefully they get that sooner than later.

Duke is waiting for my official class rank to be released. My 1L school is TTTTT and refuses to release class rank until July sometime.

I wouldn't choose Vandy over Gulc. I think of Duke as Yale of the south. Columbia is too far of a reach I think.
