Don't want to reveal too much to out myself but would appreciate insight through PMs if anyone can speak to this.

Is there any reason it would be worth it? I know of a few people who have done it but have only heard about those transfers in passing.

Would be giving up $ from Berkeley. Worried about there being an insignificant difference on long-term career outcomes if I switched, but, it's Stanford...

Not sure what other info I can provide. Also worried about getting LORs from Berkeley professors given the near-constant Stanford-shitting on campus.

Any advice?

Don't say ur eye is set on SLS, tell them H or Y.

IMO, not worth it, I'd enjoy that class rank at B.

There were 2 Berkeley to SLS transfers in my class. Not sure what their exact goals with, but at least one had family/personal reasons to be in that part of the Bay Area. Really it's hard to say if it's worth it without knowing (1) your professional goals, (2) how much money you're giving up, and (3) whether you have any chance at need aid at SLS. My gut reaction is that without the right combination of goals, low scholarship amount at Berkeley, and fairly high chance at need aid it is probably not worth it.
