What is everyone's thoughts on this school?

I am from the South, I plan on working in the South after graduation, and am surprised to see Alabama is still high up on the rankings. There's no info on LST about their salaries, but they do have 10%+ of graduates going to Federal Clerkships, which would be my dream job.

About me:

TTTT in the South, within the top 5%, Moot Court --> think this could get me in? Would it be worth it?

I currently pay about 50k per year including living expenses, Bama would be about 45k per year including living expenses.

Higher ranked school and cheaper? I would do it assuming you would be okay with working in Alabama, which it sounds like you would be.

OP here,

I will likely get a scholarship from the school I am at now for next semester due to performance.

So although the relative prices "as of right now" would be 50k v. 45k

The future looks more like: 30-35k (Current school) v. 45k (Alabama)

What market do you want to work in? Go for the best school in that market. And then decide whether its worth giving up scholarship + top rank to be unranked at a better school. Your answer will vary depending upon the market you want to be in and the transfer school you get into.

Also, aim higher than Bama. At least toss apps to the other good SE schools like Vandy, Duke, UVA.
