Visiting 3L Application Advice

Anybody have experience/advice with applying to visit another law school for 3L year? I've gotten the go-ahead from my home-institution but was wondering if anybody knows that the visiting institutions are looking for in applicants. Specifically, what are schools looking for in the personal statement? Does it even make a difference? TIA!
