Ghosts of CF past...transfer??

So, I am a GULC/Cornell/Vandy range 1L with estimated upper 5% grades (received straight A-A+'s), and I am confident (well, as confident as you can be about these things) that I can keep it up. I literally ache to transfer into HYS or even CC(not N). BUT I had a
minor academic CF issue in UG

. I feel like that makes me auto-reject no matter how weak/strong my app/softs are. Is there no hope for me and the holy trinity (or CC, but really, the HOLY TRINITY)??

A >4.0 at Vanderbilt is only top 5%?

no. 3.9 at vandy is like top 1%.
your "minor academic CF issue" probably doesn't matter at all, unless you were kicked out of school for plagiarism or something.
can't wait to see what underwhelming reveal this troll has in store for us.

When I said upper 5%, I meant 5% and above GPA (trying to use vagueness in grades/schools as a smokescreen for anonymity

)..but I did do really well, and I want to know if my intuition about auto-reject is on the mark.

OP here, it was not plagiarism, but it was a minor infraction for academic dishonesty. I can explain it in an addendum, but does that even matter for the trinity or will they not even read it?

a 4.0 at any of those schools is a lock at H. your undergrad issue almost certainly makes no difference. i made the same transfer and i dropped out of my first UG with a 0.7 GPA. "academic dishonesty" is a little worse but if you didn't get kicked out of school i really doubt it matters.

Omg that gives me hope, but I'm still nervous because it is, as you said, "a little worse"...anyone else with advice/experience regarding C&F and transferring?

Same. I was on academic probation after my first semester and then ended with three years on the Dean's list, so that probation wasn't even a factor in my 1L admission (Currently a 1L now, have 4.0, and hoping to transfer to T14, preferably HLS). If it's something like that, then the school you're transferring to will care even less because of your stellar GPA in law school.
They'd most likely only care if it was so serious that you were kicked out of your first UG institution because of it. Or if you were found liable for a violent crime by way of your university's student judicial affairs office.
