Is anyone else transferring into WUSTL. I just got in yesterday and I am super stoked!

I'm an older transfer student from a 40ish school. I did decent but nothing special. I have an above average resume. Anyways, I'm looking at apartments if anyone knows anything about that.

When did you apply, and how long did it take to get an answer? I applied a few days ago. Just curious on how long the decision took

I applied three weeks ago. My grades and rank just came out last week. Good luck everyone!

I applied and was admitted within the week. I was also offered a scholarship, which I hear is rare for transfer students.

I was Top 10%-ish from a T2. I've decided to stay at my current school.

Got in today via email w/ 10k/year scholarship. International, around 15% at mid-T2 school. My deposit deadline is July 9, which I think ridiculously short. Is this the final deposit, and if I pay, should I commit to attend WUSTL? I am worried because this was my first admission. And I am still waiting for other schools (some in T14 and others in 20s).

Congrats!! A transfer scholarship is rare! You will likely get into more schools with your stats, and I would wait until it gets closer to July 9th before paying the deposit if I were you. Hopefully more decisions will come before then

I do not "think" the deposit is binding. After you submit your deposit online, the portal where it asked you to click here to accept the offer become click here to decline your admission or something like that.

My status on the online checker says "transfer application complete". How long did you guys wait to hear a decision after you went complete ??

Three days. Whole process took maybe two weeks. It was received on a Tuesday, went incomplete on a Friday (I had an official 2nd semester transcript in transit). Admissions contacted me the next Tuesday for the unofficials, which I supplied. Complete that Thursday. Status went from complete to "decision made" Tuesday morning. Emailed shortly thereafter.

And yeah, I paid the seat deposit. $800 well spent.

Wow! Thank you for the information...I really hope mine goes that quickly. Did it go that fast for anyone else?? I figured mine might take awhile since I am a T4 guy

I emailed Director Orr to withdraw my acceptance earlier today, so that should free up a spot as well as some money. I really like Wash U a lot and it was not an easy decision.

H2O, wustl actually has a legit water polo club team that grad students can play on. They got second in nationals this year and first the year before. Look into it. I played for a few tournaments but got too busy with school. Will probably be too busy this year too but going to try and get back into it 3L year.

I too am planning on withdrawing on Monday. I just sent in my seat deposit to Notre Dame. WUSTL is a beautiful and amazing school. Good luck to all that are waiting.

Good luck at Notre Dame. Still waiting to hear from both schools. Maybe I'll be joining you at ND. WUSTL said I would get a decision early next week. Hopefully Monday!
