Berkeley is definitely within reach - however, this is obviously no lock. You should definitely be able to net a T14 I would think. I had a friend go from Hastings to CCN last year.
Tbh I dont think HYS is possible. I heard they only take T25 transfers but I heard that here on TLS so I'm not sure how accurate it is. I imagine that if you had top 3% AND some ECs to go with it, it is possible.

OP- I'm also in your situation. Current 1L with a 3.8ish looking to transfer to Berkeley or SLS. Let me know how it turns out for you!

There was a Hastings transfer in the transfer class that just graduated from HLS, for what it's worth.

Yes. Apply to transfer everywhere. You are likely definitely in at B. Good job.

Some of the claims here are nonsense. Went to a school similarly ranked to Hastings, and every year someone transferred to Harvard. You are by no means guaranteed a spot, but you likely have a chance.

Isn't Berkeley well known for poaching Hastings people?

Yes that's why I said he/she is most likely in. They take tons of Hastings kids every year.Nammertat wrote:Isn't Berkeley well known for poaching Hastings people?
