What is really to be written (i.e. what do admissions offices want to hear) in a personal statement for transfer to a top school?

"Dear____

I want to come to your school because you have a higher ranking and I will hopefully get a better job

Love,

Me"?

Seriously. Why the hell do they think we want to transfer???

i mean, it's not exactly like you're entitled to a transfer...
