Hey. I have just above median grades (3.37, median is 3.29) at WUSTL/GW/UMN. I would like to transfer to UT. Im a URM and have no softs. Im from Texas.
Assuming I win the fight of my life and stay above median, what are the chances I will be able to successfully transfer to UT?
Assuming I mess up and drop just below median, what are the chances I will be able to successfully transfer?

Unless you have compelling reasons to transfer to UT, I'm almost 100% certain you will not be admitted with those grades.
Being from Texas is not a compelling interest. Neither is wanting to live in Austin after graduation or having family in/near Austin.

I really like that your anonymous and don't out your school. For the record for transferring purposes (just like employment purposes) those are not all equivalent, regardless of what the rankings say.
