T30 transfer to GULC? 3.55 gpa

So I finally got my grades at a T30: 3.55 GPA, they don't rank till the end of the year but judging from the past few years it looks like it will be around top 15%.
I would be fine graduating from this school, but I'm in a serious relationship with a girl who works in DC and have been hoping to end up there with her. I would like to end up working there anyway, and obviously GULC puts me in a better spot upon graduating. My question is how are my chances?
Thanks for any help!

FYI, your position "upon graduation" isn't nearly as important as your position during OCI. Top 15% at a T30 OCI (depending on market and school) sounds better than being 1 of ~100 transfers at GULC.
However, if you're not going for big law and your only goal is to be in DC, I guess this doesn't matter as much. Paying sticker at GULC without a job sounds pretty terrible though. and the DC market is pretty bad.
Oh, and your chances are pretty good. They have an Early action where you could apply now, based off only your first semester. If you cracked top 10% you'd be pretty locked in.

Your chances are good. Absent additional info though I don't think its worth the money.

Is early action even possible for me? I assumed you need at least a 3.7 or higher for that. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to try I guess.

wouldn't hurt to try. Plus, your relative rank is what's important, not your specific GPA.
