anyone know what makes someone a realistic choice? assume 4+ GPA at a T1 with a recommendation from a professor thats an alum. Fighting chance?

Thats too broad. a 4.+ is spectacular depending on where you are. What is the median line? Then it depends on the school if you could get higher than Chicago.
