Taking a yr off after 1L, chances of transferring?

Hey guys,

so I made the tough decision to take a year off after completing my first year last May. I did fairly well 1l year, and I will hopefully have plenty to talk about when asked what I have been doing with the time off.

Has anyone successfully transferred after taking a year leave of absence after 1L?

Am I naively looking at this time as a re-do for 1L applications for scholarship/jobs/transfers?

Anyone that has taken a year off would be a helpful contact for me at this point.

Thanks guys!

Good luck on finals, im with you in spirit.

Your grades will still be your grades... but the time off shouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

What is your School Rank and 1L class rank? If taking a year off to work let NW know.
