GULC off the wait list - too late??

just got an email saying a spot may be open. Can't decide if I should do this so last minute. Things are already settled at GW - financial aid, had some OCI interviews and already got a call back, bought one book, etc.
Is it worth it this late in the game? No journal at GW, and I can try to write on my third year at GULC. But definitely too late for OCI stuff. But GULC might give need-based grant aid which could make it cheaper to attend than GW.
Anyone have thoughts??

If it informs your decision at all, GULC was very generous with need-based aid for me, and I also got in off the waitlist not very long ago (not as a transfer student)

I don't think I can / don't think that would be ethical. GW made it clear that if you decide not to attend, they'll pull you out of OCI. I'm not sure if that policy applies if you've already gotten a call back, since at that point it sort of in the firm's hands, but it probably is still shady, especially since the screening interview was with GW alums.

That is definitely helpful! GW only offers loans to transfers so any need-based aid would be nice...

well, giving up OCI to transfer from GW to GT sounds almost as stupid as saying that rapes don't result in pregnancy.

I didn't bid too intensely for GW OCI and only got 3 interviews so no idea what the chances are that any of them result in an actual offer... in which case I'll probably kick myself for staying at GW to see if any of these pan out, when GT was my top choice all along.
GT also offers need-based aid while GW only gives loans to transfers. So there's a likelihood that I'd spend less at GT, whereas I pay sticker at GW. Of course GT can't confirm what my financial aid would look like until after I already have to commit to going. Super helpful.

I'm saying that giving up OCI from GW might not be the worst thing in the world. I only got 3 interviews, and I have no idea what my chances are that any of those three will turn into offers. I know that I need to do mass mailing regardless of what school I'm at, so hopefully having GT on a resume will give me some more bites.
The second part of what I said basically means that it could end up being cheaper for me to go to GT than GW. GW only offers loans to transfers, so I'm paying sticker price with lots of loans. GT offers need-based grant aid to transfers. They can't tell me right away how much I will get, but have said I'm eligible for it, so it's likely that I'll actually save money by going to GT.

Top 1% of my class at a school ranked 100-120. Graded on to law review there, but they don't do mock trial / moot court competitions until 2nd year so I don't have any of that.
