I don't think results come out until early August but I figured I would make this thread for us to share results as we hear and whatnot

Did anyone not preference Geo. L. J. #1?

I didn't. Thought I'd have a better chance at getting another secondary than the main journal.

International was my #1

I ranked the main journal as first, then american criminal law review, then legal ethics, and i ranked all the others as well but I can't remember in which order after the first three. I think there were three I didn't preference because they had to be in the top 3.

I heard early August/right before EIW for results

#1 Geo L. Journal
#2 The Tax Lawyer
#3 International
#4 International Environmental

Figure this gives me a good 3-5% chance of actually being on any journal
so you know, playin the odds

To be considered for the international journal you had to rank it first or second (letter from editor). I heard main journal is very difficult as a transfer. The Tax Lawyer is your shot!

haha alright 3-5% just became 2-4%

I ranked the main LR first, legal ethics second, the criminal one third, and environmental 4th. I don't remember the order after #4.

You can only get the main journal if you put it first. Tax -> top 2, Intl -> top 2, public policy -> top 3, gender -> near top, criminal law -> top 2

Can you guys download a copy of your write-on submission from the OJA page? Mine says its corrupted whenever I try to view it.

Same for me. I received confirmation after the competition that my submission was all set, so I suspect that there may be a glitch in their system.

Results are out. Any transfers make it onto the main journal?

EDIT: I made it onto a secondary that I preferenced number 1. I didnt even bother with the main journal.

I ranked main journal #1 ... no dice. Did make it on Environmental Law Review #3
