Is it worth updating apps w/ the fact I got accepted to LR at my school? If so, is the best way by sending updated resume? Or just an email stating as much?

just send them an email

I sent them a copy of the letter inviting me to LR. I figure they have a file for me and print things out and add them for review, to this way I get an extra page in there with my update.
