I don't think you're crazy... but make sure you sign up for the other patent law fairs and don't just rely on OCI. (I think Loyola is already done, but there is a SF one too).

I would def stay if UCLA is your best transfer option and you want to stay in Seattle. With 7/300 rank you should have had CCN level to choose from though... Did you not apply to CCN?

EDIT: I would shoot late applications to CCN now if they are still accepting them. I think you have a shot. Also maybe PENN and NU. I think with any of those schools if you can get in you should go. Would be a way different story than UCLA. I know the apps are expensive and it is late, but I know of one guy who applied super late to NU and got in as transfer last summer (I think sent app in mid-July). OTOH, I imagine you are in relatively good shape if you stay where you are at, especially if you have science background and can pass patent bar.

Oh, actually, one other thing: I would make the jump to UW for sure if you get it. For Seattle that is a good place to be, and would be worth it imo.

Hahaha my fail. I don't think that he applied to S though, and I'm thinking he has very low shot at HYS, but yeah, def should go to any of those if he got in. But I think T6, T14 (most of them anyway), and UW specifically are worth it too.

I'm throwing an app to CLS. Basically, only transfer to t14.
