Transfer and then Visit?

I transferred TTT to T14 last year. Both schools are on the east coast. But I really REALLY want to be in California, which is where I intend to practice. Anyone have any idea if transfer students can do the visiting-3L thing? I'm hesitant to ask my school about it.

1. You probably can't.
2. No reason not to ask.
3. It will not be relevant to your career, so just forget about it.

Most schools require a residency requirement that's equal to about 4 semesters so prob can't.

This. You'll be required to do at least 2 years at your degree-granting school. Non-transfers can do "visiting" their 3rd year because they already did 2 years at the school they'll get their degree from.
