Top Law Schools

Seeing that there are probably a number of people out there that applied to UM as transfers, figured I would start a thread.

My research indicates that they will give accepted applicants a phone call, and that decisions are made "starting in mid-June." Since my application was complete end of May/early June, I was hoping to hear back by now. Perhaps an impatient hope, and of course, haven't heard anything yet.

Has anybody heard anything about their status? Just trying to gauge if others have been accepted and worrying can safely begin, or if they're lax about their "mid-June" timetable. Thanks!

Hey man, I applied and then i emailed to ask them if all my stuff was in and they replied saying my app was complete and ready for review earlier this week. The earliest i have seen someone accepted from last year's thread was around the 23rd of june. I'm waiting by my phone everyday now....

Is there a status checker that we have access to? The only one I saw requires a UMich ID, which I didn't receive. I got the email from the admissions office that my application was being submitted to the committee but that's it.

from all the info I've gathered, there really is no "UR". once you go complete, then they you just wait for the phone call acceptance, or the snail mail ding. I'm surprised that no one has been accepted or rejected yet, but the sampling size in this thread is very very small

I went complete Friday.

congrats man on the acceptance, this makes it much more likely that i return to my current school. I may have overestimated my transfer odds.

To the admit: do they call from a restricted number? Also, will they send an official letter or email as a follow up. Further, when did you submit/go complete?

all these can be answered from last year's thread: call is from a 734 number; they send a package (usually same day as call)

No they call from the official University of Michigan outgoing number. 734-647-0000

They told me I will get an acceptance packet in the mail within the next couple days.

I submitted my application June 14th and was complete June 22nd.

thanks much. last year, they also accepted one outstanding tls applicant before everyone else.

Not much to add, but accepted this morning via phone call; top 1% at t30.
