Small scholarship at my current school. Any ideas at my chances or where else to be looking? I know I should have been getting everything together earlier, but didn't realize I would be in a competitive range.

FWIW UGPA 3.8; LSAT 160

Goals (long term and short) and any financial considerations?

How did you find out about Texas, and when did you get your application in? Still waiting to hear from them, but I just got my application in last week.

They sent a packet in the mail. I sent my application ~2 weeks ago. I was really surprised as I believed the general consensus was that my numbers were not competitive. Best of luck.

Thanks for the info. I'm at TTT with top 3%, 3.1ugpa and 165 lsat. I think my school and ugpa are going to kill me, but we will see. Congrats on the acceptance, I know if I'm accepted I'm getting the hell out of dodge and going to UT.

FWIW, sounds like maybe you are at LSU, in which case I would jump ship to UT no questions asked, especially if your scholarship isn't that big.
