Question for NU Transfers: Northwestern for NY Biglaw?

I am at a NY/NJ T2 top 6%. My current school will give me a semi-decent shot at biglaw, but not good enough to forget about transferring.
As to where I stand, I have done alot of research. I think I have a remote shot at C/N, a decent shot at P, and will probably get GULC.
I am looking at NU employment statistics and it looks very good. Much better than GULC, and more on par with CNP, though not as good.
I have WE, and the grades, so I will probably get NU if I apply. I have no ties to Chicago and I fear that if I transfer to NU, for NY biglaw, it will look silly to firms, as I am currently at a NY area school. Does anyone have any experience with this, or general NU transfer success rates?
