GULC's transfer apps are due on June 15 (friday), but I still have not received my final grade for the Spring semester. As such, I obviously don't have an up-to-date transcript through the Spring semester.
So, if I submit my app to GULC before LSAC has received my updated transcript, then will that screw up my CAS report that gets sent to GULC on friday...or will GULC receive, say, an "updated" CAS report next week, after the deadline?
Thanks for the help.

Re: Law School Transcript/CAS question
Hey, sorry for the confusion, but do you mean that I should send an unofficial (i.e., say, something I've copied and pasted into excel or word) transcript now and then have my law school send an updated version once I receive my final grade?Jessuf wrote:Send your CAS app now. Send your transcript now (with whatever grades you have). Send an updated one when you receive your final grade directly from your law school to GULC.
I was under the impression GULC didn't want transcripts sent to LSAC anyway.
I was also planning on sending a Dean's Certificate in lieu of the certification of whatever that GULC normally requires, but that Dean's Cert needs to be current through Spring 2012, and it obviously can't be until I have all of my grades.
Also, GULC's website says that "A transcript from each college or university attended must then be sent directly to CAS, not to Georgetown Law" ... but maybe that's directed at 0L's since it doesn't say 'law school'? On GULC's transfer application on LSAC, of the things that must be submitted, #3 says "Current law school transcript (through Spring term for Fall entry)" -- but it doesn't specify one way or another. Maybe I'm just missing something from their website, but where did you get the impression that law schools could send transcripts directly to them?
Thanks for your help (or any others who can jump in)
