When I log onto LSAC and click to apply as a transfer to UVA, the only application available is the Fall 2012 application (which seems correct), but then it says that the deadline is March 2012 (which has obviously passed).

For others who are applying to UVA as a transfer, is this (the only one listed) the proper application to start? The March 2012 deadline seems odd

Did you read the instructions? Several law schools use the same application for transfers as they do for traditional admissions.
