A paper boat would be sweet. I hope my paper plane flies into someone's eye or something cool like that for me.

Special Snowflake:CanadianWolf wrote:As in "a special snowflake" ?
Often found on popular internet forums as an option to a poll, the "Snowflake" option refers to individuals whose answers, experiences, and opinions are as unique as a snowflake, and therefore cannot be categorized into one of the regular poll options.

I had no idea what you were talking about. I realize there are other definitions, but this one was my favorite.

I can't load mine either...I'm at 7/18. Sorry - I don't think it means anything. I hope it does though!

You are transferring from Penn to NYU?

Are you sure it's worth it to transfer back to NYU if you did so well at Penn. You know you can be a visiting student for the third year right?

I very much enjoyed Penn and I am not 100% sure it is worth it, but family/SO reasons are strong enough that I am really conflicted and leaning towards coming back to NYC. I am still exploring the possibility of being a visiting student third year and also waiting on Penn's writing competition results.

I need some TLS speculation/conjecture. t4, 1%
U/R 6/19---> 6/20
Haven't been dinged yet. No updates since. Are they actually considering me? If not, why haven't they dinged me with the others?
I've been checking everyday since 6/20. Kind of frustrating to see no movement

Re: Housing
Been looking at spots in Brooklyn because I heard it's a lot cheaper than Manhattan yet still a short commute. Down to live with 1-3 people if folks want to get a transfer apartment hunt going.

My wife and I did some exploration of Brooklyn and Jersey City when I thought I was going to go to NYU, and both were reasonable alternatives to Greenwich.

The Upper East Side is also generally priced better than the area around NYU. Not a bad commute with the 4-5-6 subway lines.

Re: NYU Transfers
My pure speculation tells me that NYU is definitely considering you. Like you said, we saw NYU turn down a bunch of people in TTT and TTTT schools last week and the week before. Out of curiosity, are you at a TTTT in the NYC area?IsTheFatLadySinging wrote:I need some TLS speculation/conjecture. t4, 1%

Re: NYU Transfers
Nope. But I succinctly articulated a good reason why I want to be in NYC. And I had all of my stuff in early obvi. Already admitted and signed a lease for GULC, haha so it will be interesting if lightening strikes and I am admitted.InSport wrote:My pure speculation tells me that NYU is definitely considering you.
