Yes but some of the fancier schools prefer if you do not use him/her. I think on the whole it does not matter much unless you are shooting for H/Y/S.

LRW is structured differently at each school, but this sounds fine to me as long as the course was letter graded rather than pass/fail. Some schools may prefer a tenured prof but one of my letters was from my legal writing prof.
