Yeah, no kidding. I haven't heard from either school and just by pure numbers I'm ahead of you. Are you a Kennedy or something?

That WE must be something quite interesting, like laundering the Pope's vestments or neutralizing aggressive manatee populations.

No clues about what might have done it for you?

Also, do you already know which one you'll pick?

I think my background story helps, female military vet, left film school to become a naval officer after 9/11, etc.

As far as which one I'll pick, i don't know yet. I did the write on comp for Harvard Law Review, they come out with decisions this week. Also have an app in at yale...

Ahh that is the kind of story they might like. They can put you up on their website and whatnot, probably. I'm just a normal male military vet and never went to film school.

I wonder if we will hear back this week about the LR at H. After striking out with Columbia's, I'm not confident.

I called them yesterday and they said that HLR will be released by the end of this week.

I only have NYU so far. I'm not crying (too hard) but I am waiting on a bunch of other schools I'd take over them.

Do we get our gentle let-down email today, or do we languish for the rest of the week?

Do we have last year's thread about Stanford? I think that they have a one-time calling policy and, unlike Harvard, don't care much about rounding up the number. Consider it a ding from Stanford.

According to TLS posts of the past two years, Stanford has accepted people on July 14-16 (both years it was over only two days that people were accepted)

Maybe there is hope.
