t60 to northwestern?

i fared pretty well my first semester and wound up with a 3.48 (3 A- and a B) at a t60 that doesn't rank (though, per the estimator i'm within 5% of the top 10%).

is it worth the app fee and headache to try for NW? i have some work experience after undergrad (if that matters) and I have a Federal District Judicial Externship lined up for the summer.

thoughts?

From a Tier 2, you would have to be in the top 5%, at least, to have a realistic chance.

So you're probably in the top 15%? In order to successfully transfer from a TT to a T14, you generally need to be well within the top 10% (and possibly in the top 5%).

I transferred from a TTT to NU...was in top 5%. No one in the transfer class (who came from outside the top30 schools) came in below top 10%. Be top 10% to be competitive.

Agree that you need to be in the top 10%.
