Name them. And how late is too late?

are you a 0L? if you were actually in law school, you would be asking "does this TTT give out spring grades late?" because you'd actually be enrolled in law school.

Oddly, their post history suggests 1L.

I guess they're trying to avoid naming their specific school, which is dumb since 1) they're hoping someone will randomly mention theirs, which sounds unlikely, and 2) they have like 6 posts so actually identifying their school wouldn't reveal much about them.

Shouldn't be an issue. Transfer deadlines are like July. I hope the grades don't come that late.

1L - just thought I'd get a helpful thread going...

There are some - I wanna say Berkeley's deadline is mid-June. It really eliminates any chance I might have at getting LORs from Spring profs, unless the school allows me to send in the app and then just supplement it post-deadline.

I missed SLS because I waited for grades. Got grades June 18th-ish, started looking at finalizing apps, noticed SLS' deadline was June 15.

Btw, the appropriate thing to do in that situation is to apply by June 15 and include a note that you'll send the rest of your grades when you have them.

Exactly. At least then they know that. I can't imagine a law school would be vehemently against waiting when they all know that schools can be kind of shitty with posting grades.

but in general LOR's cant be had from spring professors can they?

SLS's June 15th deadline seems early. I figure most grades come out before June 15 and July 1.
