TFR wrote:Prof replies to email requeting meeting for LOR for transfer: if you keep up or improve your grades in spring and are a plausible admit to your target school, ill think about it.

received a cali in this class and dont have this prof. second semester.

should this be considered "lukewarm" or polite rejections?
I would interpret it as "I don't want write you an LOR. Try someone else." I would think it has less to do with your grades and more to do with professors showing loyalty to their school or not wanting to be known as the guy who gives LORs.

I've been thinking about what I'm going to say to whatever professor I pick.

1.) This school offers regional placement at best. I don't want future employers to take advantage of me because there aren't many places I can go.
2.) Who wouldn't move to a better school if they could? I think I'd spend the rest of my life in regret otherwise.

You need 2? Damn. I only need 1. That's going to be hard enough since they're all pretty loyal to the school.

I might apply to GULC if I can get them in time which is just 1, but I think Chicago and most other schools need 2.
