Yes, you should transfer for better job opportunities. Transfer options to lower T-12 or UCLA should be worthwhile if in top 5%. If in top 10%, then UCLA is certainly worth a shot.
P.S. I suspect that your law school prof's recommendation will be important if outside the top 5%.
