Just have 2 quick questions for anybody familiar with the process.
1) My current school is in the upper 30 to lower 40 range. At this point I only have 3 grades and I'm waiting to hear back in one of my classes. Thus far my GPA is >4.0, but I kind of expect that to decrease at least a little bit (not very confident with how I did in this class). I'm thinking that the worst case scenario would be that I end up with something like a 3.9, which would still put me in the top handful of students at my school.
I was wondering what my chances might be.
I'm a pretty risk-adverse person so I'm hesitant to let it ride and hold out for applying to HYS (although I would probably prefer to be at one of these school)
2) Does anyone know if they really rescind an acceptance if a student's grades fall in the 2nd semester? I guess a better question would be, how shitty do you think a person would have to do 2nd semester to lose their acceptance?
- I don't plan on tanking it or anything, but this is still something that worries me.
