Don't mind either location

Which would be better in terms of securing a big law job?

Want to go into IP

GW is definitely better known as an IP powerhouse. Placement stats are similar at both. GW is a bit more national. I'd go for GW. I am somewhat biased.

IIRC you can't even do OCI as a transfer to Fordham. If that's true, do not attend Fordham.

C/P'd from Fordham's website (http://law.fordham.edu/career-planning/16749.htm):

"Students who transfer into Fordham Law School from another law school in the Summer of 2011 are not eligible to participate in the EIW and Resume Advance parts of Fall OCI but are eligible to participate in the Fall Weeks 1-8 and Resume Collect parts of Fall OCI."

Does Anyone know if the job prospects from the regular Fall OCI are good enough that it would still be worth transferring to even without participation in the EIW? Big law might be out, but I'd imagine that good mid-sized firms would still recruit during the rest of OCI.

If so, I think it would just come down to where you'd prefer to be location wise.
